We have for Sale a Concours MK2 RS 2000
That has undergone a full Nut and Bolt Re-build with mostly new parts in 2008-9 by Neil Arnold at Auto Restoration.
This Car is known to many of you and has only been driven for approximately 170 Miles on the Road (on The Lakes Tour 2012), the rest of its Life has been either stored in its Carcoon at home or in the back of my Brian James RS2 Race Shuttle on its way to RS Shows.
We will put 12 months MOT on the Sale of the Car
The Registration Number currently on the car will not be included in the sale and the car will go back to the age related plate it was given -TAO 199R.

Engine: New 2.0ltr 16v Black Top Zetec fitted with Retro Ford modified Flywheel, Thermostat & Water Rail, Enginer Mounts, Spigot Bearing, Clutch Plate Adaptor, Sump, Pick up Pipe and Dipstick, Alternator Bracket and Water Pump.
Fuel Injection System Feeding Modified Jenvey Throttle Bodies controlled by an Emerald M3D ECU on a Retro Ford Inlet Manifold with a modified Zetec Coil Pack.
All fuel lines have been custom made with Aeroquip Stainless Steel Braided Teflon Hoses. There is a high pressure competition fuel pump, bullet fuel filter and an adjustable fuel regulator.
The car was fitted with a new RS2000 Short Starter Motor, New Ford Sierra DOHC Alternator and a BDA Style cam Cover.
The radiator is a Ralloy Large Header with a 12″ Spal Electric Fan that also has a manual override.
We designed and had built a custom Triple Alloy Catch Tank painted to match the cam cover. These Tanks are for…

Transmission : RS Alloy Bellhousing with a Ford Type 9 5 Speed gearbox with a quick shift gear change and a brand new genuine Ford RS2000 clutch and a single piece prop shaft.
Suspension and Brakes: Standard RS2000 front struts with up rated Willwood front brake calipers using good ridge Braided hoses and Aeroquip stainless steel fittings and Cupro Nickel brake pipes. Single leaf springs de-cambered 50mm with Bilstein dampers at the rear. Bias pedal box with adjuster fitted with stainless steel fittings and Good ridge hoses. Superflex Polyurethane bushes all round.
Wheels & Tyres: 7″ x 13″ Ronal RS Alloys fitted with Uniroyal 195/55 R13 Tyres that have covered 170 Miles and genuine Ford series X Black Wheel nuts. The spare wheel and tyre are matched to the 4 on the car and are unused.
Interior: Re-trimmed Black Roll Top seats in Beta cloth with a nearly new interior carpet and boot carpet. New Green Tinted Olimpia Glass fitted all round and new door, window and rubbers.
The car is also fitted with a 69ltr RS Long Range Fuel Tank with the correct straps, Brand new Altissimo front and rear light units, and new indicator units and number plate light units. Genuine RS1800 side repaters are also fitted to the front wings. New nuts and bolts were used where possible and all the door hinges, door checks and other brackets were pacificated before fitting them.
A custom made 2 1/2″ Stainless Steel manifold and exhaust system with a single re-packable back box are fitted.
The Shell was primed with 2 pack primer and then painted in 2 pack signal green 77 paint and fully waxoiled afterwards. The underside of the car was sprayed with Teroson ruberised protector before the paint was applied to give the body an extra layer of protection.
The engine has been rolling road mapped to set up the ECU and the fuel mixtures and starts with no issues even after months of inactivity.
The power figures on initial set up are 124.5bhp at the wheels with 146lbft torque which was kept at this level as it is a brand new engine.
